Use a personal loan to update your vital technology

18 April 2008

Have you had your computer for more than a couple of years? Has the fan noise during start up gone from a slightly worrying buzz to the sound of a hundred angry beehives? You may want to consider updating your PC or laptop, and financing it with a personal loan.

Many stores selling computers offer finance options, but they won't necessarily give you the best deal. Computer parts are actually very inexpensive, and for the same price you would pay for a store assembled PC of below average specifications you may be able to afford the parts for a computer that could fulfil your needs better for longer.

You don't even necessarily need to know someone who can assemble your new PC in order to take advantage of building your computer from parts bought with a personal loan. Many stores that sell parts offer a service to build the PC for a price that is minimal in comparison to the premium you would pay for a store bought set up. The disadvantage comes in a lack of warranty, although some parts may have their own.
